Terms and Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made from Adele’s Manufacturing Jewellers online store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Product Sale and Availability

All products displayed on our website are subject to availability and will be delivered only within the Republic of South Africa.

All prices are quoted in South African Rands (ZAR) and include VAT.

We reserve the right to discontinue or change product specifications, pricing, or services without notice.

If a product or service you ordered is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible.

2. Stock Availability

We cannot guarantee stock at all times. If an item is unavailable, we will attempt to source it from our suppliers.

3. Product Representation

We make every effort to display colours, designs, and specifications accurately. However, variations may occur due to device displays.

Jewellery images may be enlarged for detail and may not represent actual size.

Product descriptions (e.g. metal, carat size, diamonds, etc.) are accurate and binding.

4. Ownership and Risk

Ownership of all merchandise remains with Adele’s Manufacturing Jewellers until payment has been received in full.

Risk in the merchandise passes to you upon delivery.

You may not resell, pledge, or otherwise transfer goods until full payment has been made.

5. Agreement of Sale

Placing an item in your cart or Wishlist does not constitute an agreement of sale. An agreement of sale is concluded only once the product has been delivered or collected.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any order. If rejected, any payment made will be refunded.

6. Pricing and Payment

Prices on our website are final, subject to stock and delivery location.

Delivery is calculated at checkout based on distance and weight. 

Payments can be made via:

Credit Card: Payment is collected when the order is placed.

EFT: Payment must reflect in our account within 3 working days. Orders will be cancelled if payment is not received.

7. Transaction Currency

All transactions are processed in South African Rand (ZAR).

We only deliver within the Republic of South Africa.

8. Confirmation of Orders

Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Order confirmation will be sent via email once processed.

9. Layaway Policy

A minimum 30% deposit is required.

Deposits are non-refundable.

If a layaway is cancelled, 10% of the total purchase price will be forfeited unless transferred to another purchase.

No payments within three (3) months will result in cancellation without refund.

10. Quotations

Written quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

A 30% deposit is payable on acceptance. Final costs may be subject to adjustments.

11. Repairs

All repairs are accepted at the customer’s risk. Customers are advised to insure their items.

Repair completion dates are estimates and may be extended depending on complexity and availability of parts.

Goods not collected within 60 days may be sold to recover costs.

Warranties are void if items are repaired or modified by another jeweller.

Damage from wear and tear, dents, scratches, or neglect is not covered.

Settings should be inspected every six (6) months.

12. Watch Repairs

Warranties apply only to watch movements (excluding casing, strap, glass, or exterior).

Batteries are excluded from warranty.

Out-of-warranty repairs will be quoted separately.

Watch repairs may take 6–8 weeks or longer, depending on availability of parts.

13. Errors

We make every effort to ensure accuracy in product descriptions, pricing, and availability.

We are not liable for losses resulting from website errors.

If a pricing error occurs, we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

15. General

No variation of these Terms shall be valid unless signed in writing by both parties.

By purchasing from Adele’s Manufacturing Jewellers, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
